Question 1

What types of eyewear does Urband supply?

Accepted Answer

Urband supplies prescription glasses, sunglasses, reading glasses, blue light glasses, children's eyewear, sports glasses and other frame collections organized by wearer, use and frame shape.

Question 2

Does Urband offer flexible children's glasses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Selected EYELET and LEAP by EYELET collections use lightweight, resilient materials such as TR90 and flexible frame structures, including a nylon-string soft-lock connection that lets the temple flex under lateral force and return to shape, for school, daily wear and active routines.

Question 3

Which eyewear brands belong to Urband International?

Accepted Answer

The Urband International portfolio includes EYELET, LEAP by EYELET, GLOSSI, URBAND PARIS and COUPLE. Product series include Active, Trend, Delight, Bliss, Lady G, RX Sport 2.0 and Beyone.

Question 4

Can one wholesale account cover several Urband brands?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A single wholesale account gives access to fashion, performance, children's, reading and sunglass assortments across the Urband brands, so retailers do not need to manage separate supplier accounts for each category.

Question 5

What materials are used in Urband eyewear frames?

Accepted Answer

The main materials are acetate, nylon, metal, titanium and TR90. The final material for a particular frame depends on its geometry, weight, finish, adjustment needs and intended use.

Question 6

How are Screwless Hinge and Active Hinge different?

Accepted Answer

A Screwless Hinge allows the frame to function without a conventional removable hinge screw. An Active Hinge provides controlled additional movement of the temple and returns it toward its normal alignment once the applied force is removed.

Question 7

What manufacturing and compliance support does Urband provide?

Accepted Answer

Urband coordinates frame machining, molding, forming, finishing, assembly, inspection and packaging. Product-specific records such as CE conformity evidence, EN ISO 12312-1 testing for applicable sunglass families, REACH screening results and frame reports are matched to the materials, constructions and target markets of each product.

Question 8

Where are Urband eyewear collections designed and manufactured?

Accepted Answer

Urband International is registered in Singapore, works with design resources in France, has a design and R&D history linked to Japan and coordinates eyewear manufacturing through China-based production resources.

Question 9

Who are Urband wholesale collections intended for?

Accepted Answer

The collections are intended for optical retailers, optical chains, distributors and specialist channels such as pediatric, sports and reading-glass retail that need differentiated assortments supported by original design and documentation.
